April 27, 2023
- Officers received a report of a scam in the 500 block of Willis Avenue. The victim was contacted by someone claiming to be from Microsoft. Total loss of $3,000.
- Officers responded to a report of a theft in the 1600 block of Eighth Street. The incident is being addressed.
- A 2001 Dodge R15 pickup, registered to and driven by Martin John Tolsdorf of 807 Hager St. E., Grand Junction, collided with a 2023 Mercedes FIE, registered to and driven by Sugam Rimal of 101 N.W. 14th St., Grimes. No injuries were reported. Damages were estimated at $1,105.
- Daniel Asumani Shemi, 27, of 718 Wisconsin Ave., Des Moines was arrested on a charge of driving under suspension.
April 28, 2023
- Nicole Lee Tonoche-Rios, 39, of 2110 Fourth St., Perry, was arrested on charges of possession of contraband in a correctional institution and first-offense possession of a controlled substance-methamphetamine and on a Greene County warrant for fourth-degree theft.
