- A caller said “he found drugs in the parking lot while working on a customer’s vehicle.” An officer responded and “took possession of a clear plastic bag that appeared to have marijuana inside of it. The bag was placed into evidence.”
- Pamela Haakma, 61, 711 Fifth St., Perry, was arrested on a charge of fifth-degree theft.
- A woman entered the offices of the Perry Police Department at 908 Willis Ave. with a cat caught running at large. An officer responded and transported the animal to the Perry Animal Holding facility. The Humane Society of Perry was notified.
- A woman entered the offices of the Perry Police Department at 908 Willis Ave. and said she was “receiving harassing text messages and phone calls.” An officer responded.
- A caller from the Dallas County Hospital said “they are treating a child,” and “one parent is the legal guardian,” and the “other wants to see the child.” The caller said the “parents are arguing.” An officer responded and “spoke to both parents, and they agreed to be civil to each other.”
- A 16-year-old female from Perry was arrested on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.
- A resident of Perry said he caught a cat running at large. An officer responded and transported the animal to the Perry Animal Holding facility. The Humane Society of Perry was notified.
- A caller said his dog was missing.
- A caller said “her purse was stolen today from her vehicle while working.” An officer responded.
- A caller reported “a domestic problem between him ans his wife.” Officers responded, and the caller “left the home for the night.”
- A caller reported “kids knocking on doors and then running away from the area of his residence.” An officer responded but did not find the alleged pranksters.
- Sheldon Gene Boswell, 19, 1408 Sixth St., Perry, was arrested on a charge of first-degree harassment.
*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
