December 28, 2016

  • A caller said “he is feeling suicidal and needs help to avoid it.” Officers responded, and the Dallas County EMS was paged.
  • A caller said “someone used her Social Security card to get an account from” a telephone and internet service provider. The caller said “she now owes them $526, and she never had an account with them.” An officer responded.
  • Using a translator, a caller said “her ex-boyfriend” called “and reported that he was going to come over there and get his car and beat her.” Officers responded. The ex-boyfriend “showed up while officers were there and retrieved his car without incident.”
  • Jerrad Michael Runge, 37, 1803 North St., Perry, was arrested on a charge of driving while revoked.
  • A caller said a vehicle “is always partially blocking her driveway.” The caller asked whether “an officer could leave a warning.” An officer responded.

December 29, 2016

  • Samed Palic, 18, 555 S.E. Laurel St., #36, Waukee, was arrested on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • A caller said five people “are running in between houses with flashlights.” An officer responded but did not find the runners.
  • A caller re[ported “someone in the store that was being loud and refusing to leave.” An officer responded.
  • A caller said “his mom just got home and would not stop arguing.” An officer responded and spoke with parent and child “about treating each other with respect and helping each other out.”
  • A caller said a dog was running at large. An officer responded and transported the animal to the Perry Animal Holding Facility. The Humane Society of Perry was notified.
  • A man entered the offices of the Perry Police Department at 908 Willis Ave. in order to complain about “fraudulent activity on his bank account.” An officer responded.
  • A caller reported “a dog that’s been barking for at least an hour.” An officer responded but did not hear any barking dog.
  • Brian Robert Templeman, 37, 1213 Estella St., Perry, was arrested on charges of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • Daisy Denette Easterlie-Templeman, 35, 1213 Estella St., Perry, was arrested on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.

December 30, 2016

  • Brandon Lee Ferguson, 18, 406 Rushview Dr., Jefferson, was arrested on a charge of first-offense OWI-drug related.
  • A caller said “there were six people knocking on his door,” and “he doesn’t know who they are.” Officers responded.
  • A caller said “her husband was in Perry last night drinking.” The caller said “she cannot get a hold of him” and was “concerned that something had happened.” An officer responded and made contact with the husband, who was “advised to call his wife.”

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
