  • A caller said two dogs were running at large. An officer responded but did not find the dogs.
  • A caller said “there were a lot of unsupervised kids playing near the pond.” An officer “responded, and no kids were playing out near the pond.”
  • A caller said two dogs were running at large. An officer responded and arrived to find the dogs’ owner retrieving the dogs.
  • A caller reported “kids on the pond behind her residence.” An officer responded, made contact with three juveniles and directed them to “stay off” the ice.
  • A caller from the Dallas County Hospital said a man came to “the hospital was a finger that was severely injured.” The called said “when he arrived, his car was on fire,” and “he then took off in it.” The caller said “she believed he could be under the influence of drugs.” A second caller said a man “with a severely injured thumb” was at the caller’s residence. Officers responded and detained the injured man “after a foot pursuit with the subject in regards to his finger.”
  • A patrolling officer of the Perry Police Department was “informed by a mail carrier that there was a license plate in the road.” The officer responded, took possession of the plate and attempted to make contact with the owner of the plate, which was “logged into evidence.”
  • A wireless 911 caller said she could hear “loud noises coming from outside her home and that she’s scared.” Officers responded but were “unable to locate any disturbance.”
  • A wireless 911 caller said “her vehicle had been stolen” from the parking lot of a local retail store. Officers responded and “ended up finding the vehicle in the parking lot in a different parking spot.”

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
