December 22, 2021
- Duage Arop’amat of 2211 Sunflower St., Perry, was issued a citation for first-offense dog at large.
- Officers received a report of a scam in the 800 block of First Avenue. The report was forwarded to the FBI.
- A 2008 Honda CRV, driven by Ana Alverto of 1519 Warford St., Perry, collided with a 2014 Toyota Corolla, driven by Maria Hernandez de Gonzalez of 2022 Willis Ave., Perry, at First and Willis avenues.

- Officers received a report of fraud in the 1200 block of Second Street.
December 24, 2021
- A hit-and-run accident was reported when two vehicles collided in a retail store parking lot. A 2015 Nissan Pathfinder, registered to Maria Ines Diaz-Sobario of 1423 Second St., Perry, was struck by a Jeep Cherokee that left the scene. The case is under investigation.
- A 15-year-old juvenile was arrested on a charge of unauthorized use of credit card.
December 25, 2021
- Brittany Jean Weiss, 32, of 2314 47th St., Des Moines, was arrested on charges of first-offense OWI, possession of a controlled substance and driving under suspension.
- Officers received a report of a domestic assault in the 2100 block of Third Street. No charges were filed.

- Sergio Chavez, 22, of 304 Seventh St., Perry, was arrested on a charge of driving under suspension.
