- A patrolling officer of the Perry Police Department came upon a “disabled and unoccupied vehicle in the ditch.”
- An “anonymous caller reported three people walking around the church.” The caller said the people appeared “very suspicious.” An officer responded but did not find the suspicious people.
- A caller requested a welfare check on a 93-year-old woman. A Perry Police Department dispatcher made contact with the woman, who “said she is fine.”
- A caller from Boone said “a friend from Perry informed her that” someone “has posted on social media how she is neglecting her animals.” An officer responded.
- A caller said his tenant “told him there had been a male banging at her door.” An officer responded.
- A caller reported “a van in the ditch near the airport.” The Dallas County Sheriff’s office was notified.
- A caller said he “had fallen outside.” The caller was unsure of his exact location, but “he said he was cold.” Officers responded.
- A caller said “he and his friend got into a wreck on Iowa Highway 44 two miles east of Panora.” The caller said “nobody was injured, and a friend picked them up, and the’re currently at work.” The caller said “he just wanted someone aware of the situation.” The Guthrie County Sheriff’s office was notified.
- A caller from Glidden said “her son went into the ditch,” and “she is concerned because he is on five different medications he doesn’t have with him,” and the caller “doesn’t want to find him deceased in the morning.” The Dallas County Sheriff’s office was notified.
- Bernadette Goodwin, 34, 2708 Barbina St., Perry, was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and driving under suspension.
*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
