  • A caller said “his neighbor backed into his vehicle.” An officer responded.
  • A woman entered the offices of the Perry Police Department at 908 Willis Ave. in order to report “stalking.” She said someone was “showing up whenever he wanted” at her residence and “calling her non-stop.” An officer responded.
  • A caller said someone with “a foreign voice advised he was from the Social Security office and asked for her Social Security number.” The caller said she “hung up” but wanted to make police “aware of the call.”
  • A caller said “she left some important papers with her personal information, including her Social Security number, at her” neighbor’s residence. The caller said “she went back to ask for her papers back,” and the neighbor “refused to give them to her. She said she was busy with her kids and was not going to return them.” An officer responded.
  • A caller said two dogs were running at large. An officer responded and “located both dogs, but they would not allow” the officer “to get near.” A second caller said her dogs were lost. The second caller called again and said her dogs were found. The second caller said the first two dogs “are not hers and are still running around.”
  • A caller from the Dallas County Sheriff’s office “requested assistance with a motorist assist just east of Perry.” An officer responded.
  • A caller reported “about four cars in the ditch east of Jamaica.” The Dallas County Sheriff’s office was notified.
  • A caller said “the four-way stop at 16th and North streets was completely coated in ice.” The Perry Public Works Department was notified.
  • A caller from the Perry Elementary School said “he was with the mother of a third grader who never came home.” The caller called again and said “they had located the child. He had gone over to a friend’s house without telling anyone.”
  • A caller said “he and another vehicle just crashed.” An officer responded.
  • A caller said “her grandmother is being threatened by her cousin.” The caller said the cousin “is know to carry” weapons and “may be under the influence of narcotics.” Officers responded.
  • A caller “requested a welfare check on his daughter.” Officers responded and made contact with someone, “who advised he would call his dad.”
  • A caller said “three males were fighting” in the downtown area. Officers responded but did not find the fighters.
  • A caller from the Dallas County Sheriff’s office reported “a 14-year-old boy who never came home.” Shortly afterward, “his family called and reported he was home safe.” An officer responded and “made contact with the juvenile, who was alive and well and home.”
  • A caller from the Meskwawki Nation Police Department asked for information about someone involved in a gas drive off. The caller called again and “advised to disregard” because contact was made with the person, “who was arranging to pay for the gas.”

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
