February 6, 2018

  • A caller “reported a person who is sending harassing messages to someone in Sioux Falls, S.D.” An officer responded.
  • A caller said he “believes someone is purposely going and smashing the glass” on utility meters. An officer responded.
  • A woman entered the offices of the Perry Police Department at 908 Willis. Ave. and asked whether an officer would “stand by while she removed her belongings.” An officer responded.
  • A caller “said his step-father had assaulted him and pushed his mother.” An officer responded.
  • A caller said a dog was running at large. An officer responded and transported the animal to the Perry Animal Holding Facility.

February 7, 2018

  • A caller said “someone was trying to get into her residence.” An officer responded. The caller called twice more over the following hours, and an officer responded each time, but “all three times there was no one located in or around the building who was knocking on” the caller’s door.
  • A caller said “she needed to get an emergency message to her son.” An officer “responded and passed on the message.”

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
