January 31, 2023
- A 2006 Honda Civic, registered to Jose Alcides Ramirez of 1510 Estella St., Perry, and driven by Adonis Merlos Melendez of 1509 Eighth St., Perry, collided with a legally parked 2011 Chevy Silverado, registered to Susie Ann Hildebrant-Fehr of 1311 Cutler Ave., Des Moines, in the 2600 block of McKinley Street. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $1,500.

- Nicholas Clayton, 33, of 2801 First Ave., Perry, was arrested on a charge of driving under suspension.
