- Julio Adrian Ruiz, 22, of 1915 Fifth St., Perry, was arrested on a Dallas County warrant for probation violation on an original charge of domestic abuse assault.
February 14, 2025
- A 2009 Chevrolet Impala, driven by Wesley Allen Jenkins of Perry, struck a street sign on Willis Avenue near Theater Circle. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $1,250.
- A Ford 150, driven by Leslie Gavin of Perry, collided with a Ford Focus, driven by Alexis Arilien of Perry, near the intersection of 16th and Iowa streets. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $3,000.
- Officers responded to a report of theft in the 300 block of Eighth Street.
- Officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance in the 1700 block of Pine Street.
- Wesley Allen Jenkins, 34, of 2620 McKinley St., Perry, was arrested on charges of eluding-25 or more above limit, speeding-25 or more above limit, careless driving, reckless driving, two counts of driving while suspended, operation with interlock, failure to obey a yield sign and failure to obey a stop sign and yield the right of way.
- A 17-year-old male from Perry was arrested on a charge of second-offense possession of a controlled substance-marijuana.
