February 4, 2020

  • The Perry Police Department received a report of a theft that might be in the Ogden Police Department’s jurisdiction. The case is under investigation.
  • The Perry Police Department received a report of a minor property-damage accident at the Perry High School. The motorists exchanged information, and an officer took a report.

February 5, 2020

  • The Perry Police Department received a report of a juvenile missing from the 300 block of Lucinda Street. An officer located the juvenile, who was returned to the juvenile’s mother.
  • The Perry Police Department received a report of domestic in the 2600 block of Otley Avenue. No arrests were made.

February 6, 2020

  • The Perry Police Department received a report of report of a verbal domestic in the 2900 block of Warford Street. No arrests were made.
  • Jerry Frederick Hansen, 81, of 2725 Summer Meadows Dr., Perry, was arrested on a charge of third-degree theft.

February 7, 2020

  • The Perry Police Department received a report of car-deer accident in the 900 block of Graceland Avenue. No injuries were reported. A report was taken.
  • A 2019 Toyota Highlander, driven by Haylee Kaye Barbsy of 601 North Ave., Westside, Iowa, collided with a semi-tractor trailer, driven by Kevin John Robinson of 13431 Killdeer Ave., Clear Lake, on Iowa Highway 141 near I Court. No injuries were reported.
  • The Perry Police Department received a report of fraud in the 1500 block of First Avenue. The transaction was interrupted before the theft occurred. An officer took a report.

February 8, 2020

  • No activity reported.

February 9, 2020

  • The Perry Police Department received a report of assault in the 2800 block of First Avenue. The case is under investigation.
  • Jonathan de Jesus Corado-Melendrez, 22, of 914 Central St., Perry, was arrested on a charge of public intoxication.

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
