  • A caller said a dog was running at large. An officer responded but did not find the dog.
  • A caller said a dog was running at large. An officer responded but did not find the dog.
  • A caller “reported a strong gas odor outside.” An officer responded and concluded “it is the Tyson plant.”
  • A bus driver with the Perry Community School District “brought in a school bus violation” to the offices of the Perry Police Department at 908 Willis Ave. An officer responded.
  • A caller requested a welfare check on her son because “she had not been able to make contact with him for a while.” An officer responded and confirmed the son “was fine.”
  • A caller said a vehicle on the street “has not moved for at least two months.” An officer responded and “red-tagged” the vehicle for “48-hours parking.”
  • A caller said he lost his billfold.
  • A caller said “he was in New Jersey and has his son checking his house for him.” The caller said “his son had found an open door and window at his residence.” The caller said he “wanted extra patrol.” An officer was advised.
  • A caller said someone “was chasing him, throwing big rocks at him.” An officer responded and made contact with the caller and the alleged rock thrower, who “denied it and said he did not know” the caller. “Both parties were told to stay away from each other.”
  • A caller said “there was something in the road near Woodward,” and the caller “almost hit it.” The Dallas County Sheriff’s office was notified.
  • A caller said “their window was broken to the apartment.” An officer responded.
  • A caller said his wife “should be home by now,” and the caller “wants to make sure she is okay.” An officer responded and made contact with the wife, who said she would call the husband.

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
