January 7, 2020
- A 2003 Ford Explorer, registered to Denise Garcia, 2121 First Ave., Perry, and driven by Gustavo Garcia, 18, of 2121 First Ave., Perry, collided with a 1994 Chevy, registered to Kisha Niebuhr, 903 W. Second St., Perry, and driven by Brady Eiteman, 18, of 903 W. Second St., Perry, near the intersection of First Avenue and Park Street. No injuries were reported.
- A 2002 Chevy Silverado pickup, registered to and driven by Richard Ridihalgh, 71, of 31565 Tonys Point, Gravois Mills, Missouri, collided with a 2006 Ford Focus, registered to and driven by David Ridnour, 28, of 2105 Iowa St., Perry, near the intersection of First Avenue and Center Street. No injuries were reported. Ridihalgh was issued a citation for failure to stop in assured clear distance.
- A 2007 Ford Focus, registered to and driven by Harry Waters, 75, of 517 Clearview Dr., Perry, collided with a legally parked 2019 Lexus, registered to Cuong Nguyen, 5819 N.W. 51st St., Johnston. No injuries were reported.
- A 15-year-old male was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance-marijuana, interference with official acts and minor in possession of tobacco.
