January 5, 2023
- Officers responded to a report of a domestic situation in the 1300 block of Second Street. The dispute was verbal only.
- Chol Mashar Koueth, 33, of 2516 Perry Park Ave., Perry, was arrested on a Polk County warrant for probation violation on original charges of threats-explosives or incendiary device. He was issued a citation for reckless use of fire.
January 6, 2023
- Officers received a report of a hit-and-run accident in the 1700 block of Third Street. A 2009 Honda Accord sustained damage to the driver’s side front corner of the headlight.
- A 2004 Jeep, registered to Rachel Rivera of 402 Warford St., Perry, and driven by Vincente Cervantes Noyola of, 402 Warford St., Perry, collided with a legally parked 2018 Ram pickup, registered to Milto Osbeli Barios Navarrete of 1408 W. Second St., Perry. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $10,000. Noyola was issued a citation for no valid driver’s license, failure to provide proof of financial liability and striking an unattended vehicle,
- Keala Kathleen Crawford, 24, of 500 Fourth St., Perry, was arrested on a charge of driving under suspension.
January 7, 2023
- Dakota Wylie Armstrong, 29, of 1715 Vine St., Perry, was arrested on charges of first-offense domestic abuse assault and interference with official acts with a weapon.
- Officers received a report of theft from a machine in the 800 block of 18th Street. The case is under investigation.
January 8, 2023
- Curtis Wesley Jurgensen, 59, of 1019 Graceland Ave., Perry, was arrested on charges of domestic abuse assault with intent to inflict serious injury and possession of drug paraphernalia.
