July 15, 2018

  • A caller said “she got out of the First Presbyterian Chrch and realized she locked herself out of her car.” An officer responded and a local towing service was notified.
  • Fashion Marie Foster, 43, 311 Warford St., Perry, was arrested on Dallas County warrants charges of driving under suspension and two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • A caller said “sometime this morning someone cut her hammock off the trees closest to the alley.” An officer responded.
  • A caller requested “assistance for his 2-year-old grandchild who is locked in a car.” Officers responded and liberated the toddler.
  • A patrolling officer of the Perry Police Department found a non-working traffic signal. The Perry Public Works Department was notified.
  • A “citizen flagged” a patrolling officer of the Perry Police Department and informed the officer about a dog running at large. The officer responded but “ws unable to catch the dog.”
  • A caller said a dog was running at large. An officer responded and transported the animal to the Perry Animal Holding Facility.
  • A caller said “one of his neighbors upstairs’ dog won’t stop barking.” The caller said two of his upstaris neighbors have dogs, and the caller was “not sure which one” would not stop barking. An officer responded, but the “dog stopped prior to the officer’s arrival.”
  • A caller said “one of her children had turned the burner on the stove, and they did not realize it right away.” The caller said “one of their children got sick.” The caller said “they have opened the windows but wanted someone to come and check the levels of gas in the trailer.” The Perry Police Department Dispatcher offered to “call MidAmerican Energy to out and check,” but the caller said “they would spend the night somewhere else.”
  • A caller reported “two small kittes on his porch he would like an officer to pick up.” An officer responded and transported the animals to the Perry Animal Holding Facility.

July 16, 2018

  • The Dallas County Sheriff’s office “requested an officer’s assistance” at a local dealership “where a subject in a bike with white at the front took off.” An officer responded.

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
