June 15, 2016

  • A caller said he “needed someone off his property,” more particularly, “his son who is intoxicated in his motor home.” Officers responded, but the intoxicated son was already gone.
  • A caller from the emergency room of the Dallas County Hospital reported “a patient there who has been bitten by her pet guinea pig.” An officer responded, “contacted the vet clinic concerning rabies” and “checked with environmental health to see if a report was needed.” The guinea pig “will be quarantined.”
  • A caller said “someone left a golf cart parked on the parking in front of her house.” The caller said “it’s been there for a couple of days.”The caller said her neighbors “didn’t know who it belonged to either.” An officer responded and arranged towing “at the owner’s expense” for the “Harley-Davidson three-wheeled electric golf cart.”

* A criminal charge is merely and accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

  1. The three-wheeled golf cart is probably the same one that was reported stolen in the Dallas County Sheriff’s report from Minburn on the 15th.
