Perry Police Report June 20

June 19, 2017

  • A woman entered the offices of the Perry Police Department at 908 Willis Ave. and said her son “is having people call and harass her” and “has a bunch of people sending Facebook friend requests.” She also said “he makes threatening comments when he sees his younger siblings.” An officer responded.
  • An officer of the Perry Police Department performed a funeral escort.
  • A caller said “his estranged wife” had “changed all the locks on the house during the night.” An officer responded.
  • A caller said “sometime during the night her father’s truck was vandalized.” An officer responded and found “black paint thrown onto the passenger said” and “also some orange paint was spread.”
  • A caller “reported the smell of marijuana in his apartment building hallways.” An officer responded but did not detect any odor.
  • A caller said his dog was lost.
  • A caller said “someone had thrown orange paint on their vehicle.” An officer responded.
  • Two 911 calls were received. The “caller spoke no English.” It was determined through the hep of a translator that “an argument had begun” over someone’s “speaking to another woman.” Officers responded.
  • A caller reported “vandalism to her air conditioning unit.” An officer responded and found “someone had taken the PVC pipe down and off of the outside AC unit.”
  • A caller said “sometime overnight someone splattered black and orange paint on her house.” An officer responded, and investigation revealed two more nearby residences vandalism involving paint occurred.
  • A caller “requested to know how to evict his ex-wife who had been residing with him for a few months.” An officer responded.
  • A caller said her neighbor “has a pit bull dog that is constantly barking.” The “caller and the neighbor were arguing while talking to dispatch.” Officers responded.
  • Tiara Dawn Stanek, 23, was arrested on a Perry warrant for theft of lottery tickets.

June 20, 2017

  • Macy Caitlin Cross of 2907 Warford St., #4, Perry, was issued a citation for first-offense loud music.

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
