  • A caller said she found the television on when she arrived at the Elks Lodge. She said she thought the kitchen door was unlocked. She said it appeared nothing was missing. An officer responded.
  • A caller said her “family members had removed her husband from the house last week” and had “taken items from the house.” She was calling to find out if the actions were legal. An officer responded.
  • A caller said he received a text message from someone who said “he was going to kill himself and thanked him for being a good friend.” Officers responded, found the sender of the text message and took him to the Dallas County Hospital emergency room.
  • A woman entered the offices of the Perry Police Department at 908 Willis Ave. and said she had “a dog in her vehicle that jumped into her car and will not get out.” The white chihuahua with black and brown spots was taken to the dog pound. The Humane Society of Perry was notified.

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
