March 20, 2025
- Officers responded to a report of property damage in the 800 block William Street. Damage was sustained by a garage. The case is under investigation.
- Officers responded to a report of criminal mischief near the corner of Willis Avenue and Second Street, where juveniles attempted to steal a street sign.
March 21, 2025
- A 17-year-old female from Perry was arrested on charges of first-offense OWI, first-offense possession of a controlled substance-marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
- Officers responded to a report of burglary in the 2500 block of Lucinda Street.
- Officers responded to a report of criminal mischief in the 500 block of Willis Avenue. A vehicle’s tire was damaged by a knife. The case is under investigation.
- A 2014 Chev Cruze, driven by Allison Renea Cannon of 417 Warford St., Perry, collided with a Ford F250, driven by Alberto Garcia Lopez of 321 Pattee St., Perry, near the corner of Willis Avenue and Third Street. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $6,000.
March 22, 2025
- A 16-year-old female from Perry was arrested on charges of first-offense OWI, first-offense possession of alcohol under age, first-offense possession of a controlled substance-marijuana and first-offense minor using tobacco/vapor products.
- Shannon Michael Knuth, 50, of Boone was arrested on charges of first offense possession of a controlled substance-marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
- Wilmer Ottoniel Hernandez Jaimes, 30, of 616 Warford St., Perry, was arrested on a Greene County warrant for false application for license or ID card.
- Charlie Merino-Vivar, 19, of Des Moines was arrested on a charge of public intoxication.
- Christian Antonio Garcia, 21, of Des Moines was arrested on charges of first-offense OWI and driving under suspension.
- A 2002 Honda Odyssey, driven by Amadeo Martinez Alvarez of 328 Pattee St. Perry, collided with a 2018 Honda Accord, owned by Juan Jose Medina Diaz of of 828 Park St., Perry, in the 300 block f Pattee Street. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $1,250. March 23, 2025
- Martin John Michael Gvles Boyle, 33, of 1716 First Ave., Perry, was arrested on a charge of driving under suspension.
March 24, 2025
- A 2007 GMC Yukon, driven by Charlee Cromwell of 141 300th St., Perry, collided with a 2004 Chev Impala, driven by Garrett Nelson of Woodward, which in turn collided with a 2007 Lexus, driven by Darlene Gonzalez-Ramirez of 704 Fifth St., Perry, in the 1500 block of Willis Avenue. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $3,000.
March 25, 2025
- A 2013 Ford F150, driven by Jose Cruz Cornejo Andrade of of 2111 First Ave., Perry, collided with a 2023 Toyota Tacoma, owned by Douglas Joseph McAtee of 2023 W. Second St., Perry, in the 2000 block of W. Second Street. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $1,000.
