  • A caller said a 2- or 3-year-old child was wandering around outside the caller’s residence and appeared to be “soaked.” An officer responded and located the child’s parents, who said the “work nights and had been asleep as the child slipped outside.” The officer suggested possible security measures, such as “a new lock or door alarm.”
  • Richard Allen Keller, 34, 507 Lucinda St., Perry, was arrested on a Perry warrant on a charge of interference with official acts.
  • A caller from a local automobile dealership said a white Cadillac “was taken sometimes last Friday” and not returned. The caller said “it is also believed that the title was also stolen.” An officer responded. Paperwork was completed and the vehicle was “entered into the system.”
  • A caller said she “just broke up with her boyfriend” and wished to discuss “custody issues.” An officer responded, “learned that no custody paperwork had been filed yet” and advised the caller about “her rights and the different options she could pursue.”

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
