May 15, 2020
- Officers received a report of a suspicious vehicle in the 1000 block of 26th Street. The officers were unable to locate vehicle.
May 16, 2020
- Officers received a report of a suspicious person in the 1700 block of Pine Street. The officers were not able to locate the person.
- Officers responded to a report of harassment in the 1400 block of Fifth Street on a report of harassment. All the parties were spoken to.
- A 2011 Honda Ridgeline, registered to and driven by Daniel Moyer of 2212 Lucinda St., Perry, collided with a 2011 Jeep Liberty, registered to Miranda Reitz of 401 Locust St., De Soto, and driven by Coltan Straker of 401 Locust St., De Soto, in the McDonald’s drive through. Damages were estimated at $200. No citations were issued because the collision occurred on private property.
- Officers responded to a report of a domestic situation in the 2200 block of Otley Avenue. The male half left the residence following a verbal dispute.
- Malsawmtluanga Sanga, 36, of 4531 61st St., Urbandale, was arrested on a charge of driving under suspension.
May 17, 2020
- Officers responded to a report of harassment in Pattee Park. The suspect was gone upon officers’ arrival.
- Smerlin Pena Ulloa, 30, of 500 Fourth St., Perry, was issued a citation for driving under revocation.
May 18, 2020
- Officers took a report of theft in the 2900 block of Iowa Street. Missing items included various electronics. The case is under investigation.
