April 30, 2023
- A 2022 Kia Sorento, registered to Ean Holdings LLC of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and driven by Jeudy Dionnel of 3312 Paris Pl., Orlando, Florida, struck a utility pole, owned by Alliant Energy, near Willis Avenue and 10th Street. No injuries were reported. Damages were estimated at $12,000.
- Officers received a report of an accident at First and Willis avenues. The report was not complete at the time of this news release.
- Officers received a report of criminal mischief in the 1100 block of Second Street, where a storage shed was spray painted with graffiti sometime within the last two months. A report was completed for property owner.
May 1, 2023
- Karen Amaya, 20, of 2313 Otley Ave., Perry, was arrested on a charge of first-offense possession of a controlled substance-marijuana.
May 2, 2023
- Jamie Blackmon, 23, of 204 N. Oak St., Jefferson, was arrested on a charge of driving under suspension.
- A 17-year-old female from Minburn was arrested on a charge of first-offense possession of a controlled substance-marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
