November 12, 2018

  • A caller reported a lost wallet.
  • A caller said he “needed to obtain his property from a previous residence but needs officer assistance due to a no-contact order.” An officer responded and assisted.
  • A caller said his or her dog was lost. The caller called again and said his or her dog was found.
  • A caller said a woman was “sitting on the corner” and “crying.” The caller “said she had offered to help her, but she refused.” Officers responded and made contact with the crying woman, who said “she just needed to go for a walk due to her anxiety” and “that was okay and just needed to clear her head.” The officers determined “she appeared to be okay.”
  • A caller asked whether “a school permit can be used to drive around, putting up school-related pamphelts.” An officer responded.
  • A caller asked “for advice on how to retrieve property from a storage unit that he no longer has access to.” An officer responded.
  • Gregory Alan Nath, 49, 915 W. Second St., Perry, was arrested on a charge of violation of a no-contact order.
  • A caller said his group was “having a meeting, and one of their people’s vehicles had a window busted out.” An officer responded and “determined the window was already cracked and, due to the cold and pressure change, the window blew out when she shut the door.”

November 13, 2018

  • A caller said “she was delivering papers and realized that there was a car that had hit a tree, but no one was around it.” Officers responded and “conducted an investigation at the scene. The investigation is ongoing.”
  • A caller said “he saw someone run in front of his door and heard knocking.” An officer responded.

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
