  • A man entered the offices of the Perry Police Department at 908 Willis Ave. with a purse he said he found in Boone County. An officer responded and made contact with the item’s owner, who said “she will have her daughter come in and pick it up.” The daughter later retrieved the item. The owner of the item later called and said “the checkbook is missing.” An officer responded, and the Boone County Sheriff’s office was notified.
  • A caller said she caught a cat running at large. An officer responded and transported the animal to the Perry Animal Holding Facility.
  • A caller said “she had three customers that are making her nervous.” An officer responded.
  • A caller reported a vehicle “driving around” with “an infant on the passenger’s lap.” An officer responded but did not find the vehicle.
  • A caller said “his ex who lives in Perry won’t live him alone, and he would like an officer to make contact and make her stop.” An officer responded.
  • A caller reported two dogs running at large. An officer responded but did not find he dogs.
  • A caller said “someone broke into” a vacant house the caller owns “and stole some tools and the cabinets.” An officer responded.
  • A man entered the offices of the Perry Police Department at 908 Willis Ave. and “said his family is being harassed by” someone, and someone “is stalking him on Facebook.” An officer responded, and the man “was advised not much can be done about Facebook.”
  • A woman entered the offices of the Perry Police Department at 908 Willis Ave. and asked to speak with an officer about “problems she’s having with her 11-year-old son.” An officer responded and “advised her to seek help from a counselor.”
  • A 17-year-old male from Perry was arrested on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
