November 18, 2016

  • A caller reported “dump trucks hauling loads of debris past Candleridge and that when they return from dumping it and are empty, they are” speeding. An officer responded and made contact “with the foreman on the site,” who said “the drivers should be obeying all laws and advised he would speak to all of his drivers.”
  • A caller said he caught a dog running at large outside the corporate limits of Perry. The call was transferred to the Dallas County Sheriff’s office.
  • An officer of the Perry Police Department “removed a large branch off the roadway.”
  • A caller said her dog was missing. The caller later said her dog was found.
  • A woman entered the offices of the Perry Police Department at 908 Willis Ave. and asked to “talk to an officer regarding problems with her ex-boyfriend.” An officer responded and provided “information on Crisis Intervention for assistance in obtaining a no-contact order.”
  • A caller said he “wanted a welfare check done on his 16-month-old child.” The Greene County Sheriff’s office was notified.
  • A caller said a dumpster was “rolling around on Warford between Second and First” and “bumped into several cars.” An officer responded.

November 19, 2016

  • Andrew Anliker, 1320 Sixth St., Perry, was issued a citation for send-offense dog at large.
  • A caller said “in the past couple of weeks he has had a couple of thefts that have occurred.” An officer responded.
  • A man entered the offices of the Perry Police Department at 908 Willis Ave. and said he “wanted to report fraud on his credit card.” An officer responded.
  • A caller reported “a low-hanging cable outside their residence.” An officer responded.
  • A caller said “his mother is ‘going off’ on him, and he is tired of it.” The caller said he and his mother “had been arguing about pizza and cleaning house.” The caller said he “got mad and flipped a table over, and his mother is complaining now that she is hurt.” Officers responded, and the Dallas County EMS was paged.
  • A man entered the offices of the Perry Police Department at 908 Willis Ave. in order to “speak with an officer about how to transport a weapon.” An officer responded.
  • A caller said “she just kicked out” seven children “for acting up and not listening.” An officer responded.
  • A caller said her 14-year-old son was “refusing to go inside.” An officer responded.
  • Colton Jennings Siglin, 23, 308 Lucinda St., Perry, was arrested on charges of willful injury-causing serious injury, going armed with intent and first-degree burglary.
  • A caller said “his house had been egged, and so had his car.” An officer responded.

November 20, 2016

  • Alexander Olmos Hurtado, 23, 1402 Sixth St., Perry, was arrested on a charge of driving under suspension.
  • A caller said his dog was missing.
  • A caller said a dog was running at large. An officer responded but did not find the dog.
  • A man entered the offices of the Perry Police Department at 908 Willis Ave. “with a dog found on the bike trail.” An officer responded and transported the animal to the Perry Animal Holding facility. The Humane Society of Perry was notified.
  • A caller at a local retail store said someone “just stole a 24-pack of Budweisier and took off running toward Otley.” An officer responded.
  • A caller said “there was a leaky faucet outside the caboose.” The Perry Water Works was notified.
  • A caller said “her neighbor was freaking her out.” The caller “could hear shouting and heard stomping.” An officer responded and found the neighbor “was yelling at his dog who was outside and wouldn’t come inside.”
  • A caller said “he had gotten in a fight with his sister.” The caller said “she ended up kicking his because she wouldn’t take off his sweat pants.” An officer responded.

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
