  • A caller said “that she broke up with her boyfriend” a week ago, and now she has returned to the residence “to get some property and has found another female in the residence.” The caller said she and another person “have asked her to leave but she won’t.” Officers responded and made contact with the other woman, who said “she was given permission by” someone “to stay the night and do laundry. However, she was just going to pack up her laundry and leave,” which she did.
  • The Iowa Department of Human Services “sent a referral to” the Perry Police Department “regarding alleged sexual assault against a child six years ago.” An officer responded and created a case file.
  • A caller “had questions about a no-contact order.” An officer responded.
  • A caller said “she had a package delivered to her residence,” but “she did not order anything, and she has checked with her family, and they denied sending her anything.” The caller said “she doesn’t want to open it.” An officer responded, opened the package and found a “gift.”

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
