Perry Police Report Nov. 9

November 8, 2018

  • A woman entered the offices of the Perry Police Department at 908 Willis Ave. and reported a scam. An officer responded.
  • A caller said she lost her wallet.
  • A caller said her dog was lost. The caller called again and said her dog was found.
  • A caller said “his ex” was “contacting him at work and on his personal cell phone even though there is a no-contact order between them.” The caller “also advised she is harassing his girlfriend.” An officer responded.
  • A driver with the Perry Community School District reported a school bus violation. An officer responded.
  • A caller said “he is concerned for the well being of his 20-year-old son” The cller said the son “has court tomorrow and is facing possible prison time” and “said he was going to take pills.” An officer responded.
  • A caller “said his daughter” called the Perry Police Department Nov. 6 after 11 p.m., “and the dispatcher told her officers could not respond to her suspicious-person call and to come in the next morning and file a report.” The caller then “began cursing and yelling and threatening the department.” A review of the records “could not find any record of” the daughter “calling on that time and date.” An inquiry with the Dallas County Sheriff’s office revealed “the last call they have from” the daughter “was in May referencing an accident.”
  • A man entered the offices of the Perry Police Department at 908 Willis Ave. and said “there are noises that go off when he goes in and out of” a local retail store. The man said he “is concerned he has a criminal history or is wanted for some reason.” An officer responded and explained that “it was just the doorbell that indicates if someone is coming in and out of the store.”
  • A child wireless 911 caller said “there was a raccoon in their residence.” An adult “got on the line” and said “he managed to run the raccoon out of their house.” An officer responded.

November 9, 2018

  • Anali C. Baltazar-Dominguez, 39, 1715 Willis Ave., Perry, was arrested on a charge of driving under suspension.
  • A driver with the Perry Community School District reported a school bus violation. An officer responded.

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
