- Officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance in the 2000 block of Willis Avenue.
- Officers responded to a report of disorderly conduct in the 600 block of 10th Street.
November 16, 2024
- A no-trespass order was issued in the 1000 block of Second Street to Angel Remigio Martinez Garrido, 60.
- A hit-and-run accident was reported in the 1800 block of Pattee Street, where an unknown vehicle struck a Honda Accord, owned by Anthony Velasco. No injuries were reported. No damage estimate was provided by law enforcement. The case is under investigation.
- A 2016 Chevy Silverado, driven by Gertrude Coenen, collided with a 2024 Nissan Frontier, driven by Paul Wachter, on Iowa Highway 141 at First Avenue. Dallas County EMS examined Wachter at the scene. No damage estimate was provided by law enforcement.
- Officers responded to a report of a assault in the 2600 block of Iowa Street. The case is under investigation.
November 17, 2024
- Officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance in the 800 block of Fifth Street.
- Officers responded to a report of trespass in the 2600 block of Iowa Street. A warning was issued to Massa Patricia Langar.
- Officers responded to a report of harassment in the 300 block of Eighth Street.
- Officers responded to a report of a scam in the 2600 block of Iowa Street. The loss was estimated at $50.
- Julius Deangelo Walton, 19, of Des Moines was arrested on charges of second-degree theft and forgery.
- Katherine Alvayero Ramirez, 24, of 3307 McKinley St., Perry, was arrested on a charge of first-offense OWI and issued a citation for speeding.

- Officers responded to a report of sex abuse in the 500 block of Fourth Street. The case is under investigation.
