November 5, 2021
- A 2008 Hyundai Accent, registered to Brenda Yann Campos Molina of 1415 Third St., Perry, and driven by Brandon Raziel Campos of 1415 Third St., Perry, collided with a legally parked 2013 Dodge Ram pickup, registered to David Lee Hutchison of 1815 Fifth St., Perry, and a 2012 Toyota Sienna, registered to Saul Garcia Hernandez of 1615 Fifth St., Perry. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $23,000. Campos was issued a citation for striking an unattended vehicle.
- Officers received report of a hit-and-run accident in the 1700 block of Lucinda Street. The case is under investigation.
November 6, 2021
- Officers received a report of harassment in the 900 block of Willis Avenue. The officers were unable to locate the suspect.
- Officers received a report of theft in the 2500 block of Lucinda Street. The loss was estimated at $350. The case is under investigation.
November 7, 2021
- Officers received a report of a domestic situation in the 1000 block of Pattee Street. The dispute was verbal only.
- Cody Daniel Walker, 21, of 516 Clearview Dr., Perry, was arrested on charges of fourth-degree criminal mischief, intimidation with a dangerous weapon, fifth-degree criminal mischief and two counts of simple assault.
- Amado Loaiza of 2209 Lucinda St., Perry, was issued a citation for second-offense dog at large.
November 8, 2021
- Officers received a report of a theft from vehicle in the 1300 block of First Avenue. It was later determined that the items were misplaced, and no theft occurred.
- Fredy Espinoza, 19, of 701 Third St., Perry, was arrested on a charge of second-degree theft.

- Erick Gabriel Salazar, 21, of 710 18th St., Perry was arrested on a charge of first-offense possession of a controlled substance-marijuana.
- A 2010 Chevy Impala, registered to and driven by Sherry Lyn Ludwig, 210 S.E. Second St., Panora, collided with a 2011 Nissan Rogue, registered to Gerson Omar Carrillo of 1905 W. Second St., Perry, and driven by Sara Virginia Carrillo of 2225 McKinley St., Perry. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $5,000.
- A 2010 Chrysler Town and Country van, registered to Strom Cab LLC of 110 Mallard Ave., Storm Lake, and driven by Joann Abbie Spanier of 202 S. Berlin St., Schaller, Iowa, collided with a 2010 Toyota Corolla, registered to Fatima Ramos Hurtado of 518 Second St., Perry, and driven by Laisha Paola Hurtado of 516 Second St., Perry. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $1,000. Spanier was issued a citation for with unsafe backing, and Hurtado was issued a citation for driving without a valid driver’s license.

- Jill Ann Onnen, 60, of 523 Clearview Dr., Perry was arrested on a charge of violation of a no-contact order.
- A 2007 GMC Acadia, registered to and driven by Lacie Dlin Hemphill of 1418 Sixth St., Perry, collided with a 2012 Ford Focus, registered to and driven by Adeline Star Cook of 528 Eli Circle, Ames. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $2,000. Hemphill was issued a citation for failure to provide proof of insurance-accident related.

- Officers responded to a report of a domestic dispute in the 2900 block of Iowa Street. The dispute was verbal only, and the parties separated for the night.

- Bihadndo Headman, 21, of 201 Woodland Ave., Des Moines, was arrested on a charge of third-degree criminal mischief.
- Officers responded to a report of a child struck by a vehicle in the 1700 block of First Avenue. The child did not have any marks. The officers were unable to locate the driver.

- Daniel Robert Davis, 22, of 614 Willis Ave., Perry, was arrested on a charge of child endangerment-serious injury.
- Officers received a report of harassment in the 2600 block of Warford Street.
