November 17, 2020
- A 2006 Kia Sedona, registered to and driven by Lyle Keith Palmer of 2524 Perry Park Ave., Perry, collided with a legally parked 2000 Chrysler Sebring, registered to and driven by Robin Kay Pickell of 716 William St., Perry. No injuries were reported. Damages were estimated at $1,000. Pickell was issued a citation for failure to provide proof of insurance accident related.

- Ryan Sweeney Garms, 37, of 1825 Pleasant St., West Des Moines, was arrested on a Polk County warrant for parole violation on original charges of prohibited acts-manufacturing, delivering, conspiracy or possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance-methamphetamine.
*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is innocent until and unless proven guilty.
