October 15, 2018

  • A city of Perry employee entered the offices of the Perry Police Department at 908 Willis Ave. with “a blue medical bag found at the gun range.” The Dallas County Sheriff’s office was notified.
  • A caller said “her ex-husband was supposed to meet to drop off her child” but “was still not there.” An officer responded.
  • A caller said “a previous tenant” was “being aggressive.” Officers responded, and “the tenants finished moving their items out and went on their way.”
  • A man entered the offices of the Perry Police Department at 908 Willis Ave. and said he lost his “passport, birth certificate and about $300.” An officer responded.
  • A caller said she was “having issues” with her child “going to school.” An officer responded.
  • A caller said two dogs were running at large and “had bitten her dog.” An officer responded.
  • A caller said his dog was lost. The caller called again and said his dog was found.
  • A caller said “his son” was “upsetting him and was at his residence drunk.” The caller said “he wanted him out of his house.” Officers responded.
  • A caller said a dog was running at large. An officer responded but did not find the dog.
  • A caller said a dog was running at large. An officer responded and transported the animal to the Perry Animal Holding Facility.
  • A caller said “there have been people dumping things in his dumpsters” who “don’t live there.” The caller was told “both officers were busy and would respond when available.”
  • A man entered the offices of the Perry Police Department at 908 Willis Ave. and said “he lost his green card and Social Security card.” An officer responded.
  • A caller said two dogs were running at large. An officer responded but did not find the dogs.
  • A caller said her two dogs were lost. The caller called again and said her two dogs were found.

October 16, 2018

  • A 16-year-old male from Perry was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance-methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and interference with official acts.

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
