  • A caller said he caught a dog running at large. An officer responded.
  • A caller reported “at least one pickup spinning donuts in the parking by the football field.” Officers responded but did not find “any vehicles in the parking lot driving recklessly.”
  • A woman entered the offices of the Perry Police Department at 908 Willis Ave. “regarding a scam from Mystery Shopper and a check for $8,000.” She said a man was sending her text messages and “attempting to lure her into his business.” Officers responded and “gave her the internet crime complaint center website and told her to report the issue to them as well.”
  • A caller reported a “couple fighting” at Seventh and Green streets in Boone. The Boone County Sheriff’s office was alerted.
  • A caller said she received a voicemail message from “a man who identified himself as Steve martin with Enforced Action.” She said the man threatened that “failure to return the call would lead to her arrest.” An officer responded.
  • A caller said “someone in her neighborhood has a rooster that is continually crowing.” Officers responded but did not hear or see “a rooster in any yard.”
  • A caller said someone was “threatening to harm herself.” An officer responded and the Dallas County EMS was paged.

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
