October 15, 2019
- The Perry Police Department received a report of attempted theft from a vehicle. The vehicle was entered and an attempt was made to remove the radio. The case is under investigation.
- An officer took a report of a forged check issued to a local business.
- The Perry Police Department received a report of criminal mischief in the 2300 block of Estella Street. A vehicle was egged. No damage.
October 16, 2019
- Officers responded to 1432 Third St. on a report of a theft.
- Zwannah Ahamadu Sarnor, 26, of 914 Park St., Perry, was arrested on a charge of second-offense possession of a controlled substance-marijuana.
October 17, 2019
- Officers responded to the 3000 block of Willis Avenue on a report of a burglary. The case is under investigation.
- Officers responded to the 600 block of 10th Street on a report of an assault.
- Dennis Craig Wine, 67, of 2303 Greene St., Adel, was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct.
- Officers responded to the 1200 block of 18th Street on a report of a verbal dispute.
- Tanner DeWayne Haskell Moss, 24, of Oklahoma was arrested on a charge of operating without owner’s consent.
- Andrew Schweitzer, 36, of 4420 Bowling St., Cedar Rapids, was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct.

- A 2016 Chevy Cruz, owned and operated by Reagan Cole Church of Ogden, collided with a 1996 Ford F150, owned and operated by Gary Dean Martin of Perry. Church was issued a citation for failure to stop at stop sign and yield right of way.
- The Perry Police Department received a report of a theft from a store in the 1200 block of Otley Avenue. The case is under investigation.
- The Perry Police Department received a report of criminal mischief at the Perry High School. Damage was done to school property.
- A 2004 Ford F250, owned and operated by Manuel Chavez Guerra of Des Moines, collided with a 2013 Ford Fusion, owned and operated by Kristen Rene Marlow of Ogden.
- Weslen Ariel de Jesus Flores, 30, was arrested on a charge of first-offense OWI.
October 20, 2019
- The Perry Police Department received a report of a theft in the 1800 block of Warford Street. The case is under investigation.
- The Perry Police Department reeived a report of a missing person from the 800 block of William Street. The juvenile was entered into the Iowa/NClC system. The missing juvenile later returned home.
- Hadush Shato Dubu, 31, of 1624 Estella St., Perry, was arrested on charges of public intoxication, assault-displaying dangerous weapon and interference with official acts.
- The Perry Police Department received a report of criminal mischief at Pattee Park. The case is under investigation.
- A 2016 Dodge Ram pickup, registered to and driven by James McCune of Illinois, collided with a legally parked 2017 Kia, registered to Paul or Kelley Laverty of Perry.
