- A 2017 Honda SUV, registered to Donald Escalante of 1720 W. Second St., Perry, and driven by Viviana Tobar-Escalante of 1720 W. Second St., Perry, collided with a 2002 Mazda sedan, registered to and driven by Joel Angel Figueras of 817 Second St., Perry, at the intersection of First Avenue (Iowa Highway 144) and Dewey Avenue. One injury was reported, and the victim was transported by EMS to Dallas County Hospital. Damage was estimated at $6,000. Tobar-Escalante was issued a citation for failure to obey stop sign and yield right of way.
- Officers responded to a report of theft in the 500 block of 12th Street. The case is under investigation.
- Officers responded to a report of a counterfeit bill the 1200 block of First Avenue. The bill was received sometime over the weekend. The case is under investigation.
- Officers responded to a report of damage to a political sign the 2700 block of First Avenue.
