Perry Police Report Sept. 11

September 9, 2016

  • A caller said “he was just kicked out of the place he was living a couple of days ago.” He said he is “concerned about his mail as he is to be receiving a new bank card any day and is afraid” his former “roommate may keep or use it.” An officer responded.
  • A caller said he suspected someone “driving around his residence, stopping at the corner and looking toward his house” was “going to try to take his rabbits.” An officer responded.
  • A woman entered the offices of the Perry Police Department and said “she believes someone had set her up with meth in her vehicle tires.” An officer responded and summoned a Dallas County Deputy Sheriff. The deputy “responded and had the dog check the vehicle. All (was) okay.”
  • Derick Francis Cannon, 35, 1924 Evelyn St., Perry, was arrested on a Crawford County warrant for contempt of court on an original charge of non-payment of child support.

September 10, 2016

  • A caller said “there was damage done on her van.” An officer responded.

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
