  • A caller said two bicycles were stolen “sometime during the last four weeks.” An officer responded.
  • A caller said a dog was running at large. An officer responded.
  • A caller “reported a white care speeding.” Officers responded and found “it was a road rage situation,” and everything was “okay.”
  • A caller said someone “opened his gate and drove through his yard, leaving tire tracks.” Officers responded. Inquiries with the Perry Public Works Department concluded “that Alliant Energy was planning to do some work back there” and”identified the tracks as possibly coming from a mini skid loader.” The caller was advised to “call Alliant and see if they would come out and repair his yard.”
  • A caller said her dog was missing.
  • A caller said “he’s been unable to make contact” with his friend in Perry. An officer responded and found the “house is vacant, and a For Sale sign is in the yard.”
  • An officer of the Perry Police Department “stood by while” a man “retrieved the rest of his property” from his former residence.
  • A caller said a man “was screaming profanities and walking by the library.” Officers responded and found the screaming man “was upset with his sister.” He said he “wasn’t meaning to be loud in public” and “agreed to behave in public.”
  • An officer of the Perry Police Department was on patrol when the officer was “flagged down” by a man who said his girlfriend “went out for a walk the night before and never returned.” The man said he and his girlfriend “haven’t been arguing,” and he saw “no signs of breaking up.” The man later called the officers of the Perry Police Department and said “he was contacted by his girlfriend’s uncle,” who told him his girlfriend “is visiting family.”
  • A caller said her “therapy dog” was “stolen.” An officer responded.
  • A caller said she “wanted to speak to an officer about some harassing Facebook messages she’s been getting from her ex-husband.” An officer responded.

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
