September 11, 2019
- Officers responded to the 2300 block of Willis Avenue on a report of a possible scam.
- Officers responded to the 1300 block of 30th Street on a report of a father and son dispute. Officers calmed the situation.
- Officers responded to the 800 block of Fourth Street on a report of theft of property.
- A 2017 Toyota, registered to and driven by Theresa DeJesus Robles of Perry, struck a 2002 Buick, registered to and driven by Randy Stringer of Perry, in the intersection of W. Second and Warford streets. Damages were estimated at $3,000.

- Officer’s responded to the 14000 block of Ivy Place on a report of a theft.
- Officer responded to the 2100 block of Evelyn Street on a report of a scam.
- Officers responded to a burglar alarm in the 600 block of First Avenue. Everything was okay.
September 13, 2019
- Officers responded to the 1700 block of Third Street on a report of an assault. Officers determined no assault occurred bot only a misunderstanding.
September 14, 2019
- Officers responded to the 1200 block of Bateman Street on a report of criminal mischief.
- A report was received of criminal mischief in the 2400 block of Taft Street. Several vehicles were pelted with eggs.
September 15, 2019
- Selvin Ivan Santos Ortez, 25, of 2801 First Ave., Perry, was arrested on a Dodge County, Wis., warrant for failure to appear on anĀ original charge of sexual assault of a child under 16 years of age.
A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
