Sept. 7, 2023
- A 2016 Mazda CX5 Grand Tour, registered to and driven by Karlee Kay Hines of 2705 E. 39th Court, Des Moines, collided with a 2012 Chevy Cruze, registered to Viviana Turrado of 802 Warford St., Perry, and driven by Cristobal Andres Turrado of 802 Warford St., Perry. No injuries were reported. Damages were estimated at $8,000. Hines was issued a citation for failure to yield right of way.
- Officers responded to a report of theft in the 1200 block of 141st Street. The case is under investigation.
- Officers responded to a report of theft in the 1300 block of 11th Street. The case is under investigation.
- Officers received a report of an attempted burglary in the 1300 block of Second Street. The officers responded but were not able to locate anything in the area.
- Officers responded to a report of harassment in the 2900 block of Kading Road. The situation calmed itself.
Sept. 8, 2023
- Officers responded to a report of burglary in the 700 block of Willis Avenue. Nothing was taken. The case is under investigation.
