Perry Police seek shooter

Perry Police Detective Sgt. Jerome Hill announced Wednesday morning that Perry Police received a call at about 11:22 p.m. Tuesday reporting three gunshots had been heard in the 1000 block of Dewey Street.

Officers responded to the area and found shell casings from a small-caliber weapon in the 1600 block of W. Second Street and bullet holes in the side of the building at 1007 Dewey St.

The incident is under investigation, and the Perry Police Department asks for the public’s help in identifying the person or persons responsible for firing these shots.
