Generous route staff from the U.S. Postal Service office in Perry collected and donated more than five shopping carts full of food to the Perry Emergency Pantry over the weekend.

The food was delivered to the pantry on Monday by Perry Post Office Supervisor Mary Sundell and Perry Postmaster Ron Alspach, who were greeted and warmly thanked by Perry Food Pantry Site Manager Lou Hoger.

Hoger extended a special thanks to the community participants of the Perry Emergency Food Pantry, which has seen an increase in customers in the last 6 weeks.

Pantry customers are served by a dedicated volunteer staff on Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and Thursdays from 3-6 p.m.
