Perry sophomore Magley Orellana (2) bent this cannonading blast through the mitts of the Greene County keeper and into the Rams goal Tuesday at Dewey Field.

Six different players scored at least one goal Tuesday as Perry blasted Greene County, 7-0, at Dewey Field in non-conference girls soccer.

Magley Orellana scored her first two goals of the season in the second half, with Natalie Martinez, Jaqueline Guardado, Lilian Rodriquez, Cris Gomez and Lexie Welch all finding the net as well for Perry (8-4).

Greene County (4-10) had a two-game win streak snapped with the loss. The Rams were frustrated by the Perry defense throughout the contest and managed only one shot on goal, which Odaly Perla saved.

Martinez scored for the 22nd time this season with an unassisted strike in the 12th minute, with Guardado’s third goal on the year coming in the 29th minute to give Perry a 2-0 halftime lead.

Perry began peppering the Greene County goal in earnest after the intermission. Orellana hooked in a tight-angle crossing shot in the 42nd minute and then converted off a well-placed pass from Denise Mejia in the 50th minute for a 4-0 edge.

Hannah Peterson’s assist allowed Rodriguez to split the pipes in the 64th minute, with Cris Gomez bending in a low twister in the 67th minute as the margin swelled to 6-0.

Welch capped the scoring a minute later by knocking down a high ball, gaining control and then ripping a blast from straight-on and 20 yards out.

No junior varsity match was held.

Perry returns to action Thursday when they host North Polk for Senior Night.
