Showing the spirit of charity in Perry, second graders from the Perry Elementary School recently collected 333 non-perishable items for the Perry Food Pantry.
“They were celebrating the 100th day of school, so their goal was 100 items,” said Lynn Ubben, Perry Community School District superintendent. “Needless to say, our second graders are over-achievers!”
