An athlete on the swim team tested positive for COVID-19 Friday, according to information released by the Perry Community School District (PCSD).
PCSD Superintendent Clark Wicks said all the students and families who came in contact with this athlete have been notified, and six Perry students/athletes and two coaches will be quarantined for 14 days per direction from Dallas County Public Health.
All other students can attend classes as normal, Wicks said Friday.
