COON RAPIDS — The Perry Summer Swim Team had a strong outing at Coon Rapids Tuesday and returned home with a 292-278 victory.
Devon Archer (15-18) had a perfect five wins for the Perry boys, with Riese Archer, Andrew Dowd and Dylan Winey (all 11-12) recording four wins apiece. Double wins were provided by Caleb Winey (15-18), Ethan Winey (13-14), Christopher Gonzalez (11-12) and Alec Burgin (8U), with Alex Thompson (15-18) winning once to help Perry’s cause.
Stephanie Hill and Sarah Vaughn (both 13-14) were joined by Delaney Platt (8U) in collecting four victories apiece for the Perry girls, with Haileigh Kenyon and Haley Vaughn (both 15-18) each winning three times while Breanna Penenger, Anna Ridnour, Avery Miner and Dannah Karolus (all 13-14) posted two wins apiece, as did Jaylene Karolus (9-10).
Single wins were provided by 9-10 girls swimmers Addison Huntington and Sophia McDevitt.
