A crowd numbering close to 200 stopped by the First United Methodist Church in Perry Wednesday for the annual Chicken and Noodle Dinner hosted by the United Methodist Men. The event began at 4 p.m. with the final serving plated at 7 p.m.
Diners were treated to chicken and noodles, mashed potatoes, green beans, cole slaw and a roll along with a drink. Desserts were also available, with the sizable crowd devouring 20 pies.
Members of Perry Boy Scout Troop 127 helped with setting up the tables and chairs, with serving, clearing tables and taking down tables and chairs after the dinner.
