Perry’s primary polls open under sunny skies Tuesday

Someone forgot to unlock the doors of the Perry Public Library, so Rita DeFord of Perry, a Dallas County election official, served the public in a literal way Tuesday morning at the first precinct polls.

Perry polling places for Tuesday’s primary election opened at 7 a.m. and will close at 9 p.m.

Voters residing in Perry’s first precinct can ink their ballots at the Perry Public Library at 1101 Willis Ave.

Voters in Perry’s second precinct will find their polling place at the Perry Public Safety Building at 908 Willis Ave.

Third precinct voters can cast their votes at the McCreary Community Building at 1800 Pattee St.
