The city of Perry has issued the following reminders for resident pet owners:
Dog and Cat Licenses
Pet owners within Perry city limits with cats and dogs over 6 months of age must obtain or renew their pet license by Jan. 31 of each year. Licenses expire Dec. 31 of each year.
Licenses may be obtained at the McCreary Community Building. The fee is $5 for altered animals and $20 for non-altered animals. A late fee of $5 will be charged after Feb. 1.
Owners must show proof of rabies vaccination.
Pet owners may now begin obtaining their 2019 licenses.

Dog Park Permit
While you are licensing you pet at the McCreary Community Building, consider buying a 2019 Perry Dog Park permit. The Perry Dog Park permit is effective until Dec. 31, 2019.
The cost for the permit is $20 for the first dog in a household and $10 for each additional dog. Day passes are also available for $2 per dog.
