The Iowa High School Speech Association has recognized Cathy Petersen as a 2016 Superior Judge. Selections are made based on recommendations by contest speech advisors.
Ms. Petersen is co-advisor of the Perry High School Speech program along with Wendy Bollheofer. She is the Media Specialist at the Perry Elementary School.
The Perry Speech Team sent 10 entries to the District Large Group contest recently and left with an impressive showing of eight Division 1 ratings and two Divsion 2 ratings.
Those earning Division 1 ratings earn the right the advance to the State Contest in Waukee.
