A one-day delay of the Perry High School 2019 Homecoming parade did nothing to dampen the school spirit of the students and the community that turned out to view the parade and join in the downtown festivities following.
The Perry Bluejays football team will host the Webster City Lynx at 7 p.m. Friday at Dewey Field for Homecoming 2019. The theme of the 2019 PHS Homecoming: “Is this Heaven? No, its Perry!”
The homecoming court was announced last Friday, and coronation occurs Thursday night. The court is composed of king candidates Sean Parnell, Chase Archer, Tony Burgos, Wilber Ramirez and Ever Tobar. The queen will be either Angela Hernandez, Carly Herrera, Jasmin Olmos, Magley Orellana or Hannah Peterson.
