PHS Pulse excels at Midwest regionals in Sioux City

The PHS Pulse Dance Team will stage its 13th annual Spring Showcase Friday, Feb. 28 at 7 p.m. in the Perry High School gymnasium. The Perry High School Pulse Dance Team competed Saturday in the MA Dance Midwest Regionals held at Sioux City North High School alongside teams and studios from Iowa and Nebraska vying in solos, ensembles and team routines.

PHS Pulse were successful in competition, starting off with Macie Mosher winning the 15-16 year old public HS solo division and the full team winning all three divisions they entered: prop, hip hop and pom.

The team also scored enough points to win an Outstanding Choreography Award and a Super Sweepstakes Award for scoring over 90/100 points on all three routines.

Pulse will be performing at the remaining home basketball games and at their 14th annual Spring Showcase Friday, Feb. 28. Tickets are $5 at the door.
